I loved this book! After reading the first two books in this series I have been dying to read Megan's story. She is one of the Cahill triplets, and as each of her sister's had their stories told in the first two books, I was excited for Meg's.Megan is unique from her sisters as she is a spitfire journalist who takes charge and hides any weaknesses. From the very first page the suspense begins and I enjoyed seeing how Megan dealt with the dangerous situations that came her way.
I loved hearing Rod's story! He is a tough and very thorough detective, and seeing how he handled Megan was awesome. Their banter and the way they referred to each other was endearing, and the romance was toe-curling.
Another fantastic romantic suspense! Can't wait to read more!

Great read. Kept my attention and made me want more.
Awesome book
I've read all the books and I love them all.
This is the third book of the Otter Creek series,and I have enjoyed it as much as the other two. It has great storyline, little mystery, little romance, humor, all with a great Christian overtones. I have enjoyed the series so much, I've read all three in little over a week,and that is while taking care of a houseful of kids! Highly recommend this series.
Well, well, Rebecca Deel has done it again, with her 3rd book, Written In Blood, of the Otter Creek series. Oh my goodness. I thought the first 2 books were full of action and suspense! Written In Blood, "takes the cake". Without giving the story away, that is all that I will say. I hope you enjoy the Otter Creek series as much as I have. I hope Rebecca Deel will write more in this series.
This is the third book I've read in Rebecca Deel's Otter Creek series, and it was the best of the three, in my opinion. I enjoyed them all, but this one had even more character development, action, and mystery, wrapped up at the end with a very satisfying conclusion. I've started on the 4th book now - Fatal Legacy - and it draws you in from the very beginning. I would highly recommend this series and this author!
Because the first two books in this series were so very special, I was disappointed that the spiritual journey of the hero, Rod, was not more explicitly told. Make no mistake, this was an exciting, well written five star story with wonderful romantic suspense, but I would have liked to have seen more of his counselling sessions with Pastor Marcus and the impact that this had on his life. Rebecca Deel concentrated more on the storyline, the plot drove the story, rather than the characters, which I thought was rather a shame.
However this would be a much easier book for non-Christian readers to access and enjoy, as are the next two books in the series, so it is a more suitable book for a wider audience.
